2005 gto m6 surges and dies in between gears at highway speed

    2005 gto m6
    404ci forged 4"stroke
    224/228 0.600"/0.600" 112 LSA camshaft
    PRC 225cc heads
    fast 102 intake
    nick Williams 103 tb
    fast 57cc injectors
    AEM flow fuel pump

car seems to run well in idle and around town however at highway speed 50+ when i push in the clutch the rpm will go to idle and surge or die. im getting an occasional random miss fire code when i check the dtc codes. ive attached a log from today. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Log file will show what it is doing. The tune file might show why it is doing it.

    timing table is pretty agressive
Ve table could use more work
both not causing your issue, just could be better for drivability
the PE coming on at 15 and your enrichment ramp being flat, is interesting
also are you running E85? your stoich setting is odd

ill take a look at the log

the entire log is in open loop.

looks like on the DTCs youve tried failing the maf, but dont have p101,2,3 boxes check to error on first.

What are you doing? tuning? running open loop Speed density?

maybe i missed something in the orignial post

05-06 GTOs are drive by wire aren't they. It has been so long since I've had one in front of me I don't recall I know the 04s were cable TB. Comparing your tune to a stock 05 GTO file I have the ETC Scaler is still stock with a bigger TB. The idle airflow seems low for those CI and cam. Going by the stoich all set to 9.8 you are running full time E85? You have a lot of negative numbers still in your timing table. I don't like to see that. I see a lot of tunes with that never being changed but I don't do that. Think back in the days of distributor ignition system. You set a base timing amount and it never went below that. I like to pick a value of maybe 8-14 degrees and have no value anywhere in the timing table that goes below that. I don't know why GM calibrations do that bit I figure it might be for emissions. Everyone has their own way of doing things. That way has always worked for me. Your over and under speed tables are still unchanged from stock and are aggressive. Don't know if your injector tables are correct or if you changed the fuel system type. There is usually not much good data for Fast injectors. You might have to disable all the misfire tables with that combo of parts. That is with a quick look at the file.

You don't have to check the boxes.

I'm the guy (idiot) that bought hp tuners blind having no clue the complexity of the program. I tried to figure it out. I paid a tuner in of Facebook to program the tune you see now. I asked him if something was awkward in the data log and he replied I have a vacuum leak. honestly, I just want to figure out and fix any immediate and potential damaging issues and enjoy the car. I expect a lot of idiot shaming however if I don't reach out and ask I will likely continue down the same painful path.

the car is on e85 I don't have an alcohol sensor wired it yet
I installed a ls7 maf sensor to run a larger intake. no I'm not trying to run on speed density.
    I'm sure I'm missing a ton of pertinent data, but I don't know what I don't know

I appreciate the discourse @bk2life. thank you

    thank you 2xLS1
I was fortunate to get a file for the fuel tables from fast however I inputted the data myself there is a good possibility I didn't fill in all the tables

Getting injector data and getting injector data in HP Tuners format are two different things. Fast has never had data in HPT format that I'm aware of.

Could you point me in a direction that would inform me on the proper protocol for which the injector data should be installed?

You need to throw them in the trash and buy some decent injectors with data in HPtuners format.

Trying to run E85 without a sensor would be not great. What comes out of the pump varies a LOT and that means the fueling will be off. Fueling is I think the number 1 cause of stalling or idle issues.

I saw someone comment on the throttle body scalar. The NW 103's are supposed to use the stock scalar. This is from Nick directly.

I listened to a guy and jumped of e85 because is sounded cool probably a dumb move.

I refuse to believe fast injectors are junk because they don't do the math for hp tuners conversion. So I have fast injectors and I have an excel sheet full of data for those injectors. Can someone point down a path to figure the math and translate this data?

No one uses them because they don't come with legit GM data in the format you need. You can refuse all you want. You're here for help with your jacked up tune. We're trying to help but you don't want to listen. Doesn't matter to me I'm not the one who needs to get his junk sorted out.

FAST injectors are meant to be used with FAST EFI. Same for Holley injectors with Holley, FiTech with FiTech, and so on. None of those companies/brands are selling universal injectors that are meant to be used with anything and everything out there. You bought the wrong stuff for what you are trying to do. I am sorry. This is also not anybody's fault but yours.
