04 GTO P59 BLUE GREEN stock rev limiter? speed limiter?

Does anyone have the 04 pontiac gto ls1 6 speed stock tune file or know what the stock rev limiter is set at as well as factory speed limiter? Is it possible to turn the factory shift light, set the light on certain rpm per gear and adjust the overtemp coolant setting and fuel shutdown on/off with hp tuners or only with the vz clustermod cable and a laptop to make any gauge cluster adjustments?

Also under General does anyone have a photo or screenshot of the VATS parameters disable or what you can adjust. There should be a overtemp coolant warning may be only thru vz cluster mod but also a fuel shutdown for overtemp and degree setting if its possible to adjust anywhere in hp tuners.

There is a stock file or two in the tune repository. And no, you can't do shit with the cluster through HPT. The shift light has to be enabled with clustermod. After that, you can set when it comes on in the pcm. And I have no idea if the shift light by gear function actually works or not.

Yeah vz clustermod for shiftlight, overtemp warning and fuel shutdown down enable disable and adjustments so the car doesnt ever overheat and damage anything. You know if the bmw m3 adjustment cables with the 232 chip are the same usb obd cable needed? FTDI 232 usb cable and obd2 connector plug.
Yeah theres a way 6 settings for each gear can adjust type rpm manually.

Maybe but really i was looking to see if anyone knew or had a screenshot of the stock revlimiter on the 6 speed 04 gto ls1 pcm and speed limiter as i dont have hptuners myself. It has a blank or number you can enter when i had seen the dyno shop adjust my c5 corvettes speed limiter and under general shows vats options.

Im probably going to get a vz cluster mod cable for the shift light and overtemp warning, fuel shutdown adjustments.

You can download hpt software without buying it, but you can't really do anything with it. In this case, however, since all you want to do is look at a file, I believe you can do that.

Do you know if ftdi 232rl cable used for the vz cluster mod?

You cant read the tune file thru any other apps other then hp tuners? Notes shows in some weird langauge. So you dont need to pay to download hp tuners or to read a tune file but do have to pay to make adjustments or upload a tune file with credits? Know where to download hp tuners and does anyone have the ability to see what the stock rev limiter and speed limiter is set at as well as general vats.

It has been a number of years since I found a cable to use with clustermod, so I don't even remember the specs needed, and my cable has no writing visible on it anymore. HPT uses a proprietary file format, so you have to use their software to read their files. You just go to hptuners.com and download the vcm suite. Their software will only interface to a vehicle via their cable, so that is the security for their intellectual property. The credits needed to alter and store a file are stored in the cable, but no credits are needed to view a file.

You can open the file without being connected via obd2 to the vehicle correct?

Correct. You would be able to view the file that someone posted above with no connection. On some of the much newer vehicles it is different.

I took a look at the above 04 gto m6 stock tune file in VCM BETA and seen it says the speed limiter is set at 255mph. Has a place to enable the shiftlight. For VATS:serial do you just select disable to get rid of the vats for the GTO keys the fob will still function correct?

Any idea if this is the stock rev limiter 6400 rpm for 04 GTO?

The file that guy posted was absolutely NOT a factory stock file. The stock rev limiter is 6200rpm, the stock speed limiter is 155mph, and while the stock VE table on the GTO is not exactly smooth, it does not look like the result of random volcanic activity like the posted file.
