    2012 4l60E Downshift when slowing

    Hi All,

I've searched all over and cannot seem to find the solution to my issue. Truck is a 2012 Silverado 4.8 4l60e 2wd. I have 32" tires and 4.56 gears. I used the Bluecat tool. At 0% throttle my truck should not shift into first gear until 6mph. If I coming to a slow stop this works fine. However if I'm coming into a turn a little fast and slow down rapidly then it will down shift into 1st at 10mph and 0% throttle. When I complete the turn and get back on the throttle it runs first gear out to 13mph at 15% throttle instead of the 9mph as it's set to.

Post a log and tune. Make sure the VSS in bluecats tool match your VSS in your toon.

Without a log we will never know if you mean 15% Throttle Position or 15% Throttle Position (SAE)(which is not the same throttle position % that is used in the ECM tables).

I'm logging pedal position and throttle position, I understand that the trans works off the pedal position since it's DBW. I will post the tune and log tonight when I get home.

For arguments sake, if everything in the tune is correct, is there a table that affects downshifts when braking that overrides the standard shift schedule table?

    Throttle Position (SAE)
    and
    Throttle Position
are not the same thing. Do not use the generic OBD SAE channels for GM electronic throttle, because those do not equal the same numbers you will see in your part throttle shift scheduling tables.

Log and tune provided, in the log the example starts at 15.33.00. Slowing from 13mph with 0% acc pedal position it down shifts into 1st at 10mph then after I complete my turn and get back on the throttle it revs 1st out to 13 ish mph

Sorry, look at 6:45, I'm rolling to a turn off the pedal, it shifts from 2nd to 1st at 10mph, after I complete the turn and get back on the gas it hangs in 1st.
