Help with 2002 L59 engine swap?

Hey everyone, I'm completely new to the tuning thing but am actively trying to learn. I just got my third gen camaro running with a l59 5.3 motor with a 4l60e from a 2002 suburban. The motor is completely stock, and the trans is mostly stock, mainly just an upgraded servo and a couple of other small parts. The car seems to run ok but after it warms up the idle seems to almost drop down, as if it has a misfire. Misfire counter is zero and no other trouble codes relating to how the engine runs are coming up. I do notice that the o2's are reading pretty different from each other so maybe I got a bad one out of the box? I'm not quite sure but any info is deeply appreciated!

    idle.Channels.xml
    ls swap base-vats off-16gal tank.hpt

I cant help you. But you will have to include your tune file so the ppl who help can see what's in there. '

I am following this, it looks interesting. Your STFT are way way off I think.

Oh gotcha, I?ll work on posting that as well. The tunes should be completely stock though, the ecu and motor haven?t been touched as far as mods

When you say 'motor is completely stock' that includes everything, like air intake tubing/airbox/filter, and fuel system/rails/injectors/etc?

FYI, any log file already includes all the channels; a log file is ONLY the channels and what they recorded. You only need to include the other .xml things if you need someone to see your charts/graphs the same way you see them. Those things are not in a log file, they're on your local computer.

I put on a different air intake tube setup, 2.5 inch with roughly 6 inches of straight section before and after the MAF. Stock intake manifold and injectors/fuel rail. It does have long tubes if that matters

Changing anything at all about the intake tubing means the MAF table is no longer valid, got to tune that or it will run like garbage. Or just get rid of the MAF, it's not needed unless you're doing some weird emissions referee inspection thing.

An '02 L59 should have ~51psi rail pressure with the vacuum temporarily removed, not 58 like everything other than L59. Have you verified that yet?

Oh ok gotcha, I’ll find some info on how to retune that then, thank you for the info. I have not checked fuel rail pressure yet, that was gonna be my next step. I just had my smoke machine arrive and I also found quite a few intake leaks. Some I could easily fix but others like one on the side of the throttle body for the throttle blade and and one of the injectors need to still be addressed. I’ll work on all of that and see what happens!

Checking fuel pressure should be the first step. Like, before trying to crank it over on the starter first step.

    This is very lean.

First step woudl be checking fuel pressure. It likely feels OK as the fuel trims climb but when they do a reset it will start running rough.

If it has fuel pressure. Clean maf. Check for leaks behind MAF. If that all checks out and be sure that you actually check.. then start editing the maf table.
