Why am I being 'rate limited'?

Unable to view the forum on my normal connection, I had to change IPs to post this. Cloudflare has blocked me. I didn't do anything but click on a link. I don't dare try to post a screenshot, that might be too many clicks and then this IP will be blocked by the robot too.

It's been several hours, how long do I have to wait for this to magically fix itself?

Still blocked when using my main home ISP, it's been seven hours. There is no other tech support to contact for this. This is obviously not something I can fix myself.

It kept giving me errors yesterday trying to get on here. So i gave up.
It was 404 errors and almost acted like server was unavailable.

I suspect you are coming in through a backlisted IP. maybe try a VPN like Nord

It's back, after only a short 24 hours. Good job, Cloudflare. I didn't change anything, not computer or settings or browser or browser settings, everything the same worked using my backup ISP/IP address but blocked using the normal ISP/IP.

Robots being used as robot detectors is working out about as well as any reasonable person would have predicted.

Nope, blocked again. I got to click about 8-10 on-site links before it flipped the fuck out again and blocked the IP address.

Is there some other way to get support? Considering users can be blocked form accessing any pages and the only suggestion from Cloudflare is 'contact the site's owners' (of a site you are being blocked from) this seems like something less than a workable system.

The forum has also been intermittently broken for more than a year not. Pages stop loading before all the elements appear, like it's missing some CSS or something. Click a link and get a broken page, refresh/reload and it works. But the next click is broken and has to be refreshed. This does not work if you happen to be on the Advanced Reply screen, it tries to 'resend data' and wipes out ... oh whatever. I guess this is just intended behavior, the IP blocking and all the rest. It's not getting fixed, I guess there is nobody home. Someone needs to hire an admin with the access to sort this shit out.

I asked him yesterday. He says hes being rate limited or blocked from the site and can't seem to get any help from the admins to fix the issue. Is there someone reading this that might help?
