Unable to view the forum on my normal connection, I had to change IPs to post this. Cloudflare has blocked me. I didn't do anything but click on a link. I don't dare try to post a screenshot, that might be too many clicks and then this IP will be blocked by the robot too.

It kept giving me errors yesterday trying to get on here. So i gave up.
It was 404 errors and almost acted like server was unavailable.
I suspect you are coming in through a backlisted IP. maybe try a VPN like Nord
It's back, after only a short 24 hours. Good job, Cloudflare. I didn't change anything, not computer or settings or browser or browser settings, everything the same worked using my backup ISP/IP address but blocked using the normal ISP/IP.
Robots being used as robot detectors is working out about as well as any reasonable person would have predicted.
Nope, blocked again. I got to click about 8-10 on-site links before it flipped the fuck out again and blocked the IP address.
Is there some other way to get support? Considering users can be blocked form accessing any pages and the only suggestion from Cloudflare is 'contact the site's owners' (of a site you are being blocked from) this seems like something less than a workable system.
The forum has also been intermittently broken for more than a year not. Pages stop loading before all the elements appear, like it's missing some CSS or something. Click a link and get a broken page, refresh/reload and it works. But the next click is broken and has to be refreshed. This does not work if you happen to be on the Advanced Reply screen, it tries to 'resend data' and wipes out ... oh whatever. I guess this is just intended behavior, the IP blocking and all the rest. It's not getting fixed, I guess there is nobody home. Someone needs to hire an admin with the access to sort this shit out.

Same thing happened to me. Cant offend the trolls on here. I defamed the character of lil sick.
I asked him yesterday. He says hes being rate limited or blocked from the site and can't seem to get any help from the admins to fix the issue. Is there someone reading this that might help?

Forum is still broken/fails to load unless refreshed at random times through the day, and refreshing/reloading the broken page still results in Cloudflare 'rate limiting'.. Clicking things too quickly even when it's working normally results in the Cloudflare 'rate limiting'. If they say they have made changes and it should be good now, they are lying. Not a single thing is any different than it was.
No other site on the whole internet is showing behavior like this. It's really not me or anything I'm doing on my end.
I have no idea on the details of this. I'd talked with him about something separately earlier this year and we needed to exchange some files so I had his email on hand. Seems like a asset to the community.

Our apologies for any inconvenience that has been caused to date.
From the tech side the update is that initially when we started getting attacked on the site by bots we had to rate limit the amount of posts per minute that a user could do, this threshold was set quite low to deal with the immediate threat. Since that point in time we've lifted that threshold to what we believe is pretty close to impossible for a normal user to do but will still slow down bots.
This morning we've checked to see how many users are being rate limited as a result and it seems to be set at the right level however if there are more people in the community that are experiencing rate limiting, we'd be interested in hearing from you via this thread.
We'll check back in 48hrs to see how many of you there are and make further adjustments if it's warranted.
