    TMA kicking in at hi-rpm?

    I?m having this weird issue where torque management advance is kicking in around 6100 rpm and pulling 9 degrees of timing. You can clearly see this blip on the dyno graph. This is the 2nd time I?ve encountered this on a 500 + rwhp N/A car. Not sure what?s causing it.

    We can't really tell either without the logs of it happening and the tune file along with it.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    The A/C shouldn't do this. If it is, you can tune it out. I have never seen having the A/C on cause TMA on the street or dyno. But I suppose that doesn't mean it isn't possible. I'm assuming you guys have seen this or you wouldn't have commented? Only asking, not claiming you're wrong.

    Have absolutely seen it many times. Always at 6081 rpm. Mostly in camaros.

    I've only ever tuned MY car, 2018 2SS 1LE Camaro, but every time I forgot to turn the A/C off, it would drop about 10-15* depending on if it was 93 or E85, and you could really feel that dip on E. It would only do it the 1st gear of a wide open pull though, so say I did a 2-4 gear pull, 3 and 4 would have full timing all the way, but 2nd would drop off from 6100-6300 and come back. Then you cruise for a bit then punch it again, same thing. And that was even with the A/C tables set to NOT do this, like disable compressor at 90% TPS and 4000rpm or whatever, didn't make a difference.

    Happening to me and A/C on/off does not have any difference in the outcome. Only seeing it in 1st gear. Only able to do 1st and 2ng gear WOT pulls so not sure if it is occurring in 3rd or not. Researched and not seeing any definitive resolve for this issue. I did mess with my torque management/fast torque exit to no avail.

    Did you ever solve this issue? Having the same exact issue on an 18 Camaro 6MT E92 making 534 Dynojet HP.

    LOL...Mainly soften the shift timing and torque reduction but do not rid it entirely.
    Stock Sucks but IT's reliable!

    Not sure if that solution is applicable in my case, as I have a six speed manual transmission. But thank you!

    It's been a while since I posted this and experinced these issues. Perhaps your torque limits need to be increased to prevent your ECM from limiting your power...hard to say without logs and tune
