    Tune review/critique

Ive been playing around with the tune on my 14 Silverado for a while now. Wanted to put it on here and see what everyone thinks. Runs amazing, just cant get the idle dip out of it, where if you hit the gas a little under low speeds, idle dips down to about 500 rpm and then lunges. Doesnt do it every time either. Thats why its weird. Fire away! lol

Could try bumping up the Speed Control Reserve (Idle > Torque) to get rid of the RPM dip. Not sure if that's the fix, but I recently had an issue where I cleaned my throttle body and then the engine would die when coming to a stop while downshifting; looked at previous logs and found the throttle body closing to ~10% before cleaning and ~1% after, and bumping up this table helped. The issue wasn't there when I didn't downshift, and I could see that the torque source would change from Idle to Axle when downshifting; guessing the same is true when you hit the gas.

What is a zip kit? Also is there any difference in size of the TB?

It would be better trying to resolve an issue, if you posted a data log of it running with some of the throttle blip problems you're talking about.

Otherwise if you're just looking for a critique:

VVE can't be right. I can tell you that by the shape.

It's in "MAF only". Since that's the case why even modify the VVE?

I never turn off Cat protection if you have cats on the vehicle (which all street driven vehicles should have).

    PE is pretty damn lean.

    Timing is fairly aggressive.

That along with deadening the knock sensors could be a durability problem.

Minimum timing has been zeroed out at idle. That's usually an indication the person doing the tuning has or had an issue trying to control the timing at idle. That table should never have to be changed if everything else is in line.

The VT is WAY over what's in my compare file.

Intake manifold is unchanged. Are the stock intake for the vehicle and the L86 the same volume? I don't know either way but if it's different it needs changed.

the Zip kit just fixes some issues in the valve body of the 6L80 that causes pressure spikes/drops and shift concerns. The throttle body is larger and intake manifold too. I believe the stock L83 is 80mm. and the stock L86 is 87mm. I think the volumn of the manifold on the L86 is just slightly larger, but I cannot find the spec on that.

This is why I am glad you are fixing it for me. Person that tuned it is well known around my area, and on here. But Im not one to blast someone. I just want my truck right if that makes sense.
