    has anyone tried this?

I was wondering if anyone ever tried to get their gas engine to hold back better when down shifting on hills? i was thinking maybe take a bunch of the throttle follower out at like 2500 rpm n up. i was also thinking about having 0 airflow in that area to try and get the most vacuum i possibly can.

You can get DFCO settings very aggressive and then try and run lower BRAF at higher RPMs above idle in the higher gears.
