Activation confusion

Hi everyone

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali truck.
I recently bought a new HP model 3 VCI first time customer and I registered it all at night. Once registered I downloaded the test file from the file section and messed with changing settings a little.
The next day I go read my truck ECM and change the file settings a little and go to write and it wanted me to pay again.

I'm not sure but I believe what I did wrong was the night beforehand when I registered and payed the credits to unlock my truck that this got connected to the test file.
Now it does give me the okay to write the test file but then says wrong vehicle.

So I'm pretty sure it's a mix up of the two files that is my problem. Is there any way to fix this?

This is the file that I got from the repository and accidentally activated to my account. When trying to get it to flash it says wrong vehicle. Is there maybe a way to put my vehicle info into the file I accidentally registered or would this not work at all?

I have come to the conclusion that this isn’t possible but I’m still waiting to hear from my report ticket.

I dunno how to delete this thread as it’s prolly not needed anymore.

I have created a ticket in the beginning and have been dealing with Pete. He's been fantastic with all the patience, attention and info he's given me. I will be back for any future vehicles I get. Y'all got a customer for life. I love the interface and the software is full of features and pretty easy to use. Keep up the good work.
