Set one up on an LS in less than 20 min

Just got back from a small training seminar at HP Tuners. It only took me about 20 minutes to get it running from wizard to fire up on an LS1 on their test firebird. Some things were me being OCD but its no harder than any other product on the market if you know what you are looking for.

I’m curious if this removes the need for a lingenfelter 24x to 58x trigger box for older gen 3 ecu’s?

Should just be a setting to control either reluctor just like all the other aftermarket ECU's.

Maybe hptuners can chyme in on if this is true. Don't want to purchase something so expensive if I don't know for sure that is an option for the ecu.

RDF1 is right, CORE supports both 24x and 58x reluctor wheels. You just need to set the correct setting in the tune file.

can you mix/match the crank and cam?
    24x/1x - 24x/4x - 58x/4x - 58x/1x

So to confirm if my new build is 58x trigger and 4x cam gears there is no need for the lingenfelter box correct? This ecu allows you to change to whatever the engine specs are?

For 24x, only 1x cam is currently supported.
For 58x, both 1x and 4x cam work.

It is always advised to use a timing light to ensure correct angle.

Correct, you would not need the lingenfelter box. We support 58x/4x.

Thank you for clarifying. I have a gen 3 p01 drive by cable engine is a 58x trigger so which harness would I need and does it matter? Also what’s the warranty for these?
