    5.7 P59 Swap Won't Idle

I don't know what I'm missing but I can't get it to idle unless the pcm sees at least 1 mph, after that the desired idle goes to 600 from Zero. Is there a table I don't have access to?

Since we're playing a guessing game, my guess is this is supposed to be an electronic throttle vehicle and it's been converted to cable and it's not setup properly. You can't just flip the switch under the systems tab.

I wondered about that myself. Its definitely using DBC. system options are zero'd for ETC and its reading 0%tps at idle until throttle is applied. Tune says it came from a 4.3 astro van, could have been a DBC...maybe? I know some of the P59 pcms had IAC drivers...

OP is this set up with vacuum reference fuel system or returnless? what PSI? The injector flow rate is set for a vacuum return system.

Tune is a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.7, vin is just an astro because hptuners wouldn't license a Mexico vehicle

HP Tuners licensed it just fine for me with the Mexican VIN.

Might be a table you do not have access to given it was a manual transmission file to start with. I converted it to run a 4L85E setup in my case using open source as the open source definition literally has 2-3x as much stuff definied. I copied a lot of stuff out of a 2005 DBC 6.0L van for the idle and it works well with the 383 in mine.

I can post a file later that has all the engine parameters changed for an automatic.

P59 run L31 based 383 cold start. Biggest problem I ran into post swap was the transient tables that HP Tuners does not have defined in their software. Throttle stomp compensation is completely missing on this OS and the marine intake wants a ton of acceleration enrichment especially with an engine that is not fully warmed up.

It'd license it but didn't count towards the Silverado. Mine runs perfectly besides the first start before you move. If you start it and take off right away itll idle perfectly till you restart and I tried couple different xdf but none had the desired idle table
