is this safe to drive 50 miles?

changed intake position and went for a cruise.hpl

knock retard is now visible, IATs are way higher than id like. the drive is mostly 50mph highway. should i just tow it or do i drive it to the tuners?

how bad are my IATs from a more experienced view?

    thanks for any help guys

The IATs arent ideal but theyre not crazy. I get the same numbers in traffic in most of my vehicles. Youre only filling the first row of cells for timing in the histograms because youre not logging cylinder airmass.

I would suspect that the IATs would lower while youre driving. They were staying around 109-110 while you were doing 30-35mph. Maybe with more speed it would read lower.

Dude, you?re the MAN, you replied quickly to me last night too. I?ve actually just found a tuner that?s only 13 miles (25 minutes) would you feel comfortable driving it? Or should I add that air mass log, drive, then re upload the log to determine if it?s safe?

Wanna be safe? check it for knock. Doesnt take long to add a channel and roll around the block. after you add cylinder airmass to channels and start logging, make sure its doing what it should. (see attatchment) If its populating, go get a log. If theres no knock youll just see 0's in the histogram...

Startup wasnt logged in that file. Youre not showing knock anywhere.

Also running pretty rich everywhere, better than lean if youre not tuned....

The one cell that is "lean" only had 8 cell hits, so id ignore that.

Why not tune it yourself. you have the hardware, obviously...

your input has been extremely valuable. I thank you very much. As to why i dont just tune it myself... time. I work for myself with no employees or a business manager, just bought a property that im in the midst of developing myself, and am an avid mountain biker. building the motor and doing the swap and initial tune was a massive win, im happy to pay a pro to get it dialed for me.

Based on what youve seen, would you advise against me driving 60 miles north 50/50 highway/country roads to do an overnight camp?

(as in do that drive before i get tuned)

Id fix my IAT issue and do a little "self tuning" to clean up the fueling before i took it anywhere that far. COULD it make it that far? Probably so, but id clean it up first....Id pack a new set of plugs for when i got to the tuner.

would you okay it to do the 25-30 minute drive directly to the tuner as is?
