2 BAR Cold Start/Heatsoak trim movement

OK 2 BAR Guru's.. I sorta have the 2 BAR under control and AFR is solid at 11.2 at WOT and 25* timing...........

My next task is to tackle trim transitions from cold start through heat soak....

When warming up the truck in the morning, fuel trims are as much as -15% and yet when truck is warm and heat soak is setting in, trims settle in to -1 to +1 through the lower MAP range.... wideband is showing less than 2% error of commanded AFR from idle to WOT.... I would like to tackle this issue this week before I introduce an aftercooler to the truck this weekend....

Could someone please direct me to the correct tables and provide a brief synopsis of what I am trying to tweak out... Are we working in the Initial Adder VS. ECT tables of Afterstart Enrichment or in the PN/Drive enrichment tables?

If your startup is rich then I would look at the OLFA table for a cure. If trims are enabled, unfortunately that's what you get as the IAT plays a bit too much of a fueling adjustment roll in tuning. Wish there was a way to "limit" IAT adjustments but there isn't.

Alrighty then... I will play with that some this weekend when I install the new aftercooler. After 19 months of running without a intercooler, I am finally going to do something about my mid load IAT's.....

    As usual, thanks....

What about IAT relocation? Some people put it where
it's sensing more ambient temp than intake plumbing
mass temp (engine compartment heat soak) and from
what I gather they're happier. Like out by the front
    bumper somewhere.

Question is, are you getting bothered by -real- inlet air
temp, or by the hardware temperature it runs through?

My IAT sensor has been relocated to 6" before the TB and about 8" downline from the Meth nozzle. Both are between the output of the Vortech and the TB. Attached pic shows the setup. I did this because the blower is non-intercooled and I seem to have grown quite fond of the 13 psi of boost...

My aftercooler was delivered yesterday, so I am installing it this weekend. Maybe it will settle down at that point....

    I hope.....
