Did I screw myself by installing AEM 30-0334????

I have an 03 Corvette Z06 with an LS3 motor in it, but the PCM is stock to the car. I am in the process of tuning via email by sending my logs back and forth and I wanted to be able to get it tuned better so I was told to get the AEM 30-0334 because its super easy to connect with HP Tuners because it has the OBD2 passthough. I just got done installing everything and I cant get HP tuners to "See" it. WB EQ Ratio 1 (SAE) is in my channel list but greyed out. After googling a little bit, it looks like it may not work for pre-2007??

If there is a way to hook this up, I would really appreciate the info! (I have a MPVI2)

It has an analog output as well and I believe a serial output.

You can always connect with a pro link via analog. You will need pro features for the mpvi2.

The instructions are still listed on those for how to wire a serial output, but last time I checked, it does not actually work on the CAN model.

If you dont have a prolink then you could run analog through the EGR circuit. Although, on a vette, I bet youd have to pin into the PCM and have the circuit turned on by someone here, since it probly didnt come with active EGR from the factory.

More of a PITA but its cheaper than buying more hardware.

Or temporarily run through ac pressure sensor? But you may have to modify some tables to keep that from causing problems.

3rd option is you can wire serial output to a usb connector and add it to the scanner data. That's the way mine is setup with my lc-2. Don't have to worry about ground offsets with the serial either

As I already posted, the AEM version with CAN output does not have working serial output.
